General Manager - Regional
Garage Sale Vintage is looking for a dedicated and experienced Regional General Manager. This position will work directly with GSV CEO & Director Of Merchandise to help facilitate and manage new store openings, train all new staff, manage all current and future GSV store managers on day to day store operations and manage all GSV Food and Beverage budgets and goals.
General Manager Duties include:
- Manage and work closely with all GSV store Managers and ensure store operations are running smoothly and effectively
- Work closely with GSV accounting team and CEO to create and maintain budgets and goals for every store and ensure that Store Managers are meeting set goals
- Take lead in all new store openings; this includes but is not limited to:
- Hiring and training all new staff (this includes both Bar and Retail staff)
- Reaching out to local vendors and opening all needed accounts( liquor, cleaning, security etc)
- Ensure GSV is running smoothly before exiting project
- Leave behind all materials for the store manager to use - ordering guide, HR docs, checklists
- Set up and attend daily Huddle meetings with all store managers to ensure day to day operations are running smoothly
- Must understand the Merchandising Goals and Operations
General Manager Requirements:
- Knowledge of effective leadership and management styles
- Extensive knowledge of bartending; including beer, wine and liquor
- Experience in training staff
- Ability to communicate via written and verbal communication methods
- Willingness to travel
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office & Google Drive applications
- Strong organizational skills
- 3 + years of high volume experience
- Managing a staff of 50 or more
Must be able to work nights and weekends
Must be eligible to travel within the United States
